The concept of the Rapture, as described in the Bible, does not involve people dying during the event. Instead, it involves believers being transformed and taken up to meet Jesus in the air. Here are the key points from Scripture that provide insight into this event:

Biblical Description of the Rapture
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17:

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”
This passage indicates that those who have already died (“the dead in Christ”) will rise first. Then, those who are alive will be “caught up” (raptured) to meet the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52:

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”
Paul explains that not all believers will experience physical death (“we will not all sleep”), but all will be transformed.
Key Points
Transformation, Not Death: For believers who are alive at the time of the Rapture, the event involves a sudden transformation rather than death. Their mortal bodies will be changed into immortal, glorified bodies suitable for eternity with the Lord.
Resurrection of the Dead: Those who have already died in Christ will be resurrected with glorified bodies and will rise first.
Conclusion
Based on these scriptures, the Rapture does not involve death for those who are alive at the time it occurs. Instead, it involves an instantaneous change where believers are transformed and taken up to be with Jesus. The dead in Christ will be resurrected first, followed by the transformation and rapture of living believers. This event is seen as a miraculous and glorious moment for those who are in Christ.
